Michael Kelsey
Mike is Director of Anti-money Laundering Risk Management for PNC Financial Services Corp. Mike began his career with PNC in 1985 as securities counsel at Bank of Delaware, which was acquired by PNC in 1988. Since then, he has held a variety of positions in PNC’s Legal and Compliance Departments. Mike graduated from Widener University Schools of Law in 1983, has taught Banking Law at Widener as a member of the adjunct faculty, and writes and speaks frequently on compliance and AML risk issues. Mike is also the Chair of the American Bankers Association Compliance Executive Committee.
Dan Soto, CAMS
In August, 2005, Dan was appointed the chief compliance officer at Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”) Centura Bank, the personal and commercial banking operation in the U.S. for RBC Financial Group. Before joining RBC Centura, Dan spent eight years with Bank of America, where he was the Global Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Executive. Prior to joining Bank of America, he was a bank examiner with the FDIC and the Federal Reserve and helped develop the Fed’s AML examination policies. Dan is currently a member of the American Bankers Association’s Compliance Executive Committee and the chairman of the ACAMS Advisory Board. He also serves as a Board member of Regulatory Data Corporation, a company established after September 11th, 2001 to assist financial institutions with PATRIOT Act compliance.
