David Chenkin
David is a partner in the New York office of the law firm Zeichner Ellman and Krause, LLP (“ZEK”). At ZEK, David is a member of the Management Committee, and is the firm’s Administrative partner. As a litigator, David represents major financial institutions and other clients in civil, criminal, regulatory and compliance related matters. He heads the Firm’s anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act compliance practice area, and represents clients in connection with investigations initiated by Congress and by federal, state and local prosecutors and banking regulators. In addition, David handles confidential internal investigations for clients facing potential civil, criminal and regulatory exposure.
Bruce Zagaris
Bruce is a partner with the law firm of Berliner, Corcoran & Rowe, in Washington D.C. His private practice includes criminal trial and appellate work. He has served as counsel in more than forty criminal trials and approximately five appellate cases. In addition, he has handled evidence gathering and extradition case both on the interstate and international levels and cases involving prisoner transfer applications. His criminal work has included counseling on extradition and international evidence gathering cases, testifying as an expert in international criminal cases involving money laundering and tax crimes, counseling of witnesses for grand jury investigations, prisoner rights, representation of parolees, probation revocation matter, and early release of prisoners on emergency medical problems. His private practice has also included monitoring international tax and enforcement developments in the US and the Caribbean for foreign governments and corporate clients. Since 1985, Bruce has also edited the International Enforcement Law Reporter, a monthly publication which discusses developments in international criminal and related enforcement cases.
