• What part of the course do I do first/next?

The LMS learning path will guide you. ACAMS will email you occasional reminders, especially before live events.

  • The LMS learning path isn’t allowing me to access ______.

The LMS unlocks parts when you finish the ones before it. Be sure you have completed the previous parts—including clicking the “CONFIRM” button where instructed to do so.

  • The learning path shows that I completed _____ but I haven’t yet.

You might have accidentally clicked the “Confirm” button for that part. It’s OK. You can still access that part, so follow the instructions to complete the work. When finished, just move on.

  • I watched the video but it doesn’t show as “complete.”

You might have quit the video just before the end. Restart the video, and click the progress bar to jump to almost the end. Let the last few seconds of the video play all the way to the end (even though it’s the author credits), and the learning management system will mark it as “complete.”

  • I can’t complete the homework because I can’t access/find the “Sanctions Compliance” discussion forum.

The LMS learning path has a PDF homework assignment with links to the discussion forum. Follow the homework instructions carefully. (If appropriate, check Salesforce to make sure the learner has an active ACAMS membership which is required to access the discussion forums.)

  • I lost my LMS password.

Your initial password is your ACAMS member number. If you have forgotten your member number, please email info@acams.org

  • How long can I access the course?

Access expires 4 weeks from the course start date. Everyone starts and ends the course together, so everyone is finished 4 weeks from the start date.

  • What if I miss a live event?

Be sure to attend both scheduled virtual classrooms. There are no make-up sessions. However, a recording will be available to you on the learning path a few days after each live event.

Assessment / Credits

  • What is the minimum score for the assessment?

There are 20 questions. You must earn 80%. Multiple attempts are allowed, so in the event you don’t pass on your first attempt, you can review the material and retake the test.

  • How can I return to the assessment for future reference?

You cannot. The assessment is confidential once you pass it. That’s intended to protect the integrity of the assessment.

  • How do I get my certificate?

You can download your certificate directly from the ACAMS learning management system. It will appear when you successfully complete the course.

  • What CAMS credits do I get? How do I request those?

ACAMS automatically adds 4 CAMS credits to your account when you complete the course.

Technical Requirements

  • Can I view the course on my (iPad, phone, tablet, laptop, etc.)?

The course is compatible with most operating systems and browsers to make it easy to participate. The video, homework, and final assessment are mobile-friendly. The virtual classroom uses Webex Event Center which currently does not support mobile devices. Contact your organization’s IT department for assistance. The ACAMS Learning Management System (LMS) is https://acams.exceedlms.com.

  • What do I do if I have technical difficulties?

Contact your organization’s IT department for assistance. At the beginning of each live event, the host will announce the phone number for Webex technical support, as an option to using your in-house IT.
