Do you have to be an ACAMS member to attend the conference?

No. The conference is organized by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and offers vital AML knowledge and networking to anyone in this growing industry. However, ACAMS members receive discounts on registration to the ACAMS Annual Conference, CAMS Examination. Visit the ACAMS booth to become an ACAMS member at the conferences.

What is including in the registration fee?

In addition to the 3 days of great learning you will receive from top industry experts, you also get a Conference Book and an interactive CD-ROM, which includes original speaker papers and materials especially selected by the ACAMS Education and Training team which you can share back home with your office collegues.

Can I bring a guest to a cocktail reception?

Yes. If you wish to invite a guest to a cocktail reception, the cost is $50. Please see the cashier at the registration desk to make a payment and retrieve a name badge for your guest.

What if I need a visa to gain entrance into the United States?

If you need a visa to attend the conference, once you are registered and have paid your fee, we can furnish you with an invitation letter to take to the embassy. However, we do not take responsibility for the decision the embassy may make on your visa application.

Can I earn continuing education credits by attending?

Conference attendees earn up to 5 CAMS credits, as well as 2 CAMS credits if they attend the CAMS Examination Preparation Seminar. You will also qualify for CLE, CPE, CRCM and CFSSP credits. Please contact ACAMS for more information.

ACAMS is registered with the National Association of State Bords of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have finaly aurthority on acceptance of individual courses for CPE credits. Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes. The certificates are handed out at the information desk on the last day of the conference. For your convenience, you may also contact ACAMS to have your certificate of attendance e-mailed to you.

How do I register for the CAMS Examination?

To register for the Wednesday, September 26th, CAMS Examination, visit www.ACAMS.org to download the CAMS Candidate Handbook or call the ACAMS Certification Department at +1.305.373.0020. Attendees must be registered for the CAMS Examination by August 10, 2007.

How do I register for the CAMS Preparation Seminar?

To register for the Sunday, Spetember 23rd CAMS Examination Preparation Seminar, visit www.ACAMS.org or call Member services at +1.305.373.0020. Your seminar registration includes a full day of instruction by CAMS certified experts, as well as the CAMS Examination Study Guide, a Supplement of the Study Guide and presentaion materials with sample exam questions.
