Starting July 2, 2007, the CAMS Examination will be administered in computer-based
format (CBT). ACAMS has contracted Thomson Prometric to assist in the development,
administration, scoring and analysis of its examination. Exam candidates now have
the opportunity to select from over 400 Prometric testing centers around the globe.
Candidates will also receive results within seconds of completing the examination.
Currently, the computer-based testing of the CAMS examination will be offered in
the English language starting July 2, 2007 and in Spanish in August 2007. Check
the ACAMS website regularly for updates.
Eligibility to sit for the exam requires a minimum scoring based upon a combination
of education and experience (20 credits, see chart).
Requirements to sit for the exam may be found in the Candidate Handbook.
