FinCEN has announced the first in an intended series of public hearings to continue gathering information on its Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Customer Due Diligence Requirements for Financial Institutions published on March 5, 2012. The first public hearing will be held on July 31, 2012 at the U.S. Department of the Treasury Building.
